Love the dress and color. Disappointed the fabric is so sheer (back and bra visible) that I needed to buy a cami to wear underneath. The rest of the dress has plenty of coverage due to the wrap around creating a double layer of fabric.Pleasantly surprised. Material is very lightweight ..not high quality, -lower grade polyester....but For $88 ..great... ( I shopped the box stores Macys, Nordstrom.. got sticker shock lol)ordered the black, went by bust size, so a 2xl (petite plus)... still need to pinI'm 5'5" with 4" platform shoes on.not see through (well once its wrapped)This is a great dress for photos, but not great for wearing. The silhouette, flow, and color are beautiful. I got complements on it and it is flattering. However, the fabric and stitching quality are both poor IMO—and while that might be more tolerable at half the price, I would not pay $100 for it unless I was in a total bind (which it was). The fabric also wrinkles easily, the seams had several threads hanging off, and the edging started curling up after wearing for less than an hour. As for size, it runs much smaller than other S&P dresses I’ve tried (and the measurements they give), but is made worse by the wrap design and tulip hem in the front. This is a true wrap dress that is wide open like a big bath robe until you properly wrap it around you. So, you have to do the usual wrap-dress routine of snaking the tie around each side, then tying it in the back to keep it from slipping open, and then wrapping it back around your waist to get the wrap to stay shut. (Kiyonna has a great How To video on YouTube if this is new to you.) One big problem: the ties (wrap belt part) are shorter than needed to wrap around and still have it lay nicely in the front—and that was on a more hourglass shape. Leaving it just tied in the back left it gaping open and looked frumpy. Adding a belt may help this. I bought this looking for a more modest dress. It looked beautiful standing, but even going up a size, the whole bottom of the dress opened when I sat thanks to the tulip hem. I had to go with it because of timing, but was constantly having to fidget with my dress to keep from flashing everyone when I sat. I am usually at the upper end of 1x in their dresses, and tried both 1x and 2x. The 1x didn’t fit at all. I made the 2x work, but TBH if I had to do it again, I would go for the 3x just to keep my underwear and upper thighs confidently covered.Purchased this for my daughter. It seems to run VERY big. Order down one size. We reordered and that one fits better.The quality of the fabric and the print & color are all excellent.The fit is great, however it is a little long as I am a bit short. The color is beautiful and I am quite pleased with the purchase. Knowing that I would have to have the dress hemmed, I was extremely happy that it was delivered 2 days prior to the estimated delivery date enabling time for the alteration.The fabric this dress is made of is horrible. It spots so easily. I had applied lotion to my hands 3 hours before I got dressed, and even after that long, slight smudges could be seen where my hands touched. Also, this dress is not styled for the larger bust, however, it was very roomy in the waist and hip area. I wore it for my son’s wedding and hated it so much that I’m giving it to a friend to cut up for fabric.pretty
