This is the perfect summer wedge, especially for somebody who really WALKS!! I have a tendency to turn my ankle and this shoe is so sturdy and "sure-footed." Wish more colors were available, but I think I am lucky to get a pair now. They were no longer available in my size on the Mephisto website.I love these wedges! I spent the last couple of years wearing Birkenstock’s flats. I had no idea wether I could even walk in heels anymore. As it turns out Mephisto wedges, Sanita wooden sandals are what me feet can handle. They have arch support, a fully cushioned footbed and the wedge sole thins out in the back but not so much as to make me wobbly. I am so happy with the Mephisto Lissandra!I want to thank the seller, Legend Footwear in the UK I needed these in the US next day and they made it happen!These mephisto sandals are so comfortable you can walk and stand all day! The color goes well with so many outfits and occasions. I have this sandal in 2 other colors and love them all!It's dressy enough and what it lacks in "fancy-ness," it more than makes up for in comfort. It's expensive but it is worth it. My Summer "dress" shoe.These shoes are like walking on clouds. They are so comfortable & pretty. The size runs small so seriously consider going up. I normally wear 7.5. These are an 8. If my feet were slightly bigger these would be too small.Love shoe. Good supportLove these shoes so much I now own them in 4 colors. In contrast to another reviewer, I find the Velcro closure very desirable, it allows me to adjust the shoes exactly how I like them instead of having to choose between two "buckle holes" where one is too tight and another is too loose. I have walked 3-4 miles at a time in these shoes, as well as stood for long periods with no discomfort or strap chafing! I found them to be this way straight out of the box.
