UPDATE: many years later update but found this in my list of reviews and thought better late than never! I did repurchase this dress and the one they sent the second time had no issues like the ones I mentioned the first time. It has held up really well and although I haven’t actually worn it in at least a year (the bright pink color just doesn’t call to me anymore), I feel like I got a lot of use out of it in years past. Wrap style is flattering, construction and fabric is decent enough to have held up to washing and wear. The fabric is stretchy and pretty comfortable. I would consider buying in a different color to suit my changed preferences since it is a staple style and affordable price. I am 5'2” and the sleeves of the small were a little long, but that is pretty typical for me and I like to push them up anyways. Aside from that the fit is good and it's a cute dress. I love the coral color. The material is a bit thin though, so I could see my bright blue underwear and the outline of my bra. Maybe a slip or smoother, neutral undergarments would help.Unfortunately mine came with some sort of sticker residue on the sleeve, leaving a very obvious dark rectangle that I'm not sure would come out if I tried washing. In the same area there were also a couple small holes, which of course I can't fix. Sending it back, but I may buy again in hopes that this was just a fluke.Unfortunately, this dress doesn't fit the way it should. After reading reviews, I decided to go up a size and it was still above the knee, leaving the sleeves a tad too long. It also lays funny, in that, the tie on the inside causes it to have two different levels and not match up unless you're constantly adjusting it and pulling it down, as the back rises up a bit. The most disappointing is that it's not the same dress. The model wears a dress with smaller dots, I noticed a review and one of the photos showed the customers dress with larger dots, and hoped I would receive the one pictured, the smaller dots, but no. However all of that being said, it's still rather cute, and I do like it, so I'm keeping it, but just be warned, you most likely will receive a dress slightly different looking than the model is wearing, with larger polka dots. I normally wear a medium, and the large was ok, although having to constantly tug at it. I'm barely 5ft, but wrap dresses are forgiving.This is a nice wrap dress. The sleeves is actually one of my favorite parts of the dress, as it gives it a touch of sophistication. The dress does run surprisingly big, in particular in the process of wrapping the garment. Also, I noticed that my dress did not have a side slit near the waist to put the wrap belt through like most, if not all wrap dresses feature, which could contribute to the somewhat awkward way the dress lays on the side. (So far all wrap dresses that I own have the small side hole/slit at the waist to slip and adjust the belt tie through, odd this one does not have it). Also there are small, thin inner ties on the right side of the dress before wrapping the the larger belts. The dress also appears to be more of a true black than a dusty, faded black in the photo if that makes sense, which I prefer.Is this a dynamic wrap dress in fit and quality? Not really. Is this a solid, nice black dress that will work great from work to happy hour or on a less than fancy special occasion? Absolutely! Good purchase for a great value!I have yet to wear it out, so I will hold off on giving it a 5 star review for now. Plus due to the fit and lack of side opening I will wait and see how it holds up.This dress is great for work (with a safety pin for security- maybe a cami if you're super modest, although there's no cleavage showing). I'm 5'2" and the dress comes just an inch or so above the knee- the perfect length for me. I''m usually a 6-8 (6 regular, 8 petite) and tried the small, but it gaped at the chest and the skirt fit like it was painted on. The large was big enough for two of me (the small seemed so small I thought I should really size up), but the medium fits beautifully, although the elastic at the wrists is very loose and leaves the wrists floating weirdly. Wish I could open up the casing and tighten it, but the elastic is stitched to the material. Maybe if I have a couple of hours some day to take it all out and resew...I'm 5'8", 145lbs. Reading the reviews I was a bit nervous the material would be too thin, but you can't see through it. It is the type of material that shows any lumps/rolls you might have, but the polka dots and ruching from the wrap waist help hid that. So I'd be careful about what patterns or solid colors you buy. I got a large and definitely would not go smaller, if anything maybe a size up. Although, I am happy with the fit. The polka dots are bigger than in the picture. I bought bc it's pretty conservative and I can wear it to work, etc., but it would look cute with some chunky heels and nice jewelry if you want to dress it up. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.Beautiful dress, it just run a size to big for me and longer than I expected. The elastic part of the sleeve was also very big. Other than that I would have kept it but it was to big. I ordered a 2x which is what I normally wear so you may need a 1x in my opinion.I purchased this same dress in leopard print, but had to return the red because it was noticeably smaller.I ordered my usual size and the dress is very big. It is also extremely long. The models dress goes above her knew my dress is below my knees so it makes it an awkward length. The strings in the side are long and there's not much you can do to tighten the dress to give it a real shape. I ordered the dress in red, and the color looks amazing! I'm going to keep it and possibly pay to have it altered. If I could re-order I would order a size down.This dress fits well and looks great. Fabric is comfortable though be aware it's a bit thin/see-through. Print is nice and not loud or anything like some animal prints can be. Easy to wear anyplace.I send back that dress and its come back to me wrong adress...don't know what to do with itIt's adequate for the price. Not a 'true' wrap dress.
